Black Bean Brownies
ingredients
1 can of black beans, drained & rinsed
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350° & grease an 8x8 pan. Set aside.
In a blender or food processor, combine black beans, maple syrup or honey, oil & vanilla until smooth.
Add cocoa powder, sugar, salt & eggs. Blend until combined.
Mix in half of the chocolate chips with a spatula & pour into prepared pan.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over the batter & bake for 30 minutes.
