Black Bean Brownies

ingredients

  • 1 can of black beans, drained & rinsed

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

  • 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

 
 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350° & grease an 8x8 pan. Set aside.

  2. In a blender or food processor, combine black beans, maple syrup or honey, oil & vanilla until smooth.

  3. Add cocoa powder, sugar, salt & eggs. Blend until combined.

  4. Mix in half of the chocolate chips with a spatula & pour into prepared pan.

  5. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over the batter & bake for 30 minutes.

  6. YUM!
